I just bought a 200X from an off road store in my town. Its in really good condition and everything on it is original, including the tires. They arent in very good shape so i was wondering what some good tires are that will fit a 1985 200X. (I'm looking for back tires and a front tire) I will post some pics of the bike later today if i can find where my camera is.

id say 18 or 20 inch turf tammers, if you like to slide in the corners and they hook up pretty good on the straights.

I always love a thread full of tire recommendations without even one person asking what type of riding you will be doing, and what type of terrain you will be doing it on.

A good detailed description of your riding habits and areas is a good place to start. Accepting any recommendation without that information is like asking "whats the best gun for huntin' " without mentioning what game you intend to shoot while everybody recommends everything from a cap pistol to a bazooka.

do you think that itp holeshotes in the back and a kenda pro max in the front would look good on a 200x

In that case I would recomend a 300 win mag. There aint nuthin it wont bring down and good for as far as you can see (if you are that good of a shot). Might be a little overkill for squirrels and chipmonks but then again they dont run. 168 gr sst and 68.1 gr win 760 ball powder. Big game killer :naughty:

I recommend a Thomsen Center Oncore in 454 Casuall.

thats a pistol calibure -wtf???indeed. A better bash would have been 45/70, 450 marlin or 444 (big and fast).

You really can't go wrong with the Holeshots unless you are heading to sand dunes.

What kind of riding do you do? Wooly Boogers or Spider Traks do good for alot of different riding.
