350x With Dual Exhaust?

Would this be possible. Once i get my 350x back form the shop im gonna take off the exhaust and see if my 86 200x DG exhuast fits the left side..If it does im gonna see if it would fit the right side..If so i want dual exhaust on my 350x. Possible? WHats your oppinions. Has this ever been done

I saw it once that the left side headpipe went around the left side of the engien under the carb and met together the way it is originaly. Dono about fuel dual exhasut but would be a pain i think.

I have seen a 350x with dual exhaust before. A local guy modified one and then ask me if I wanted to buy it. The only thing the dual exhaust did was make it look different.
IMO, over all it wasn't worth the effort, let alone the cost. Unless you just looking for something different.

i beat it was alot louder but i havent seen one.... i have a stock ytm200ek exhuast what do people put holes in them for louder? where do you punch holes at?

Have two duals comming off with a straight pipe all the way back :w00t:. Then it would be louder ;).


Ek- It doesnt make a huge difference in sound by doing that but it constantly cleans the carbon out of the exhaust.

Dual exhaust on a single cylinder engine only bennifits you if you want a different style.

Derrick. I am parting the 200x. Maybe. I talked to dad and he still says to buy a newer 4 wheeler but he says if you really want to keep the 350x then you can. Hopefully i can keep the 200x also (here at moms). Nomadder what im selling the XR100R after i get the 350x back this friday. everyone with built raptor motors over on bluetraxx swears by duals on a built motor. I think ive seen where they said a 5 horse increase over a 2 into 1 pipe. on a non built motor i dont think they will have much effect. as much air as you can get into and out of the motor the more power you will make.

Lol, Ok ill tell him. I think it owuld be fun. We went to the spring nationals (drag racing) and had a blast. They had 4 wheelers out there on the camp ground. I bet T-F would be even more fun..

OSin86, Why then did honda put dual exhaust on the CRF250R this year? They claim it's for more torque I believe.... There must be some kind of benifit if honda engineers are doing it on a motocross bike where every once counts......

you need some back pressure. if you go to big you can lose power. at least with cars anyway.
