possibly buying this tri z 250 whats it worth??

found this tri z locally and wondering what its worth. before i make an offer its already pretty cheap.
i already have an 83 250r thats got a few mods done to it im wondering if this will be any faster and if suspension is any better. i was sorta holding out for an 85/86 250r but dont think i can find one for as little as the guy wants for the z any coments or thoughts would be great.

way less hes asking $1000.00 ive offerd 800 and hes biting. problem is im scared to get it vs an 85/86 250r. but i know its a decent deal for the tri-z i wouldnt mind having it and the 250r but space is limited and i cant keep them all. as it stands i will have to get rid of my 200x to keep the tri-z

Well, it has water cooling over your R, and it is probably better than your 200x in everyway. I would say for 800 dollars jump all over it, you won't be sorry.

yeah it seems nice im gonna go try it out tonight and decide from there. the 200x will be sold if it comes home with me tonight. that means my fiance is loosing her ride and will be riding either the z or the aircooler lol.

For $800-$1000 I would definately jump on it. I don't know if it is modded or not, but a modded Z is more fun than a stock '85 R in my opinion. Z's are great machines.

I'd say 800.00 is a steal for that bike! My Z will smoke a stock water cooled R. A few mods and you won't be diasppointed.

Jump on it...85 1/2 edition Z:w00t: ....great shape except for the funky pipe which would take about 20 minutes to fix...Looks like my daily rider...Mines a blast...you wont be disappointed and the price is definetly right!!!

Looks to be clean and with the stock oem rear tires, which you don't see everyday, I would say Great deal for $800

it will definetly be for sale if the triz works out i will kepp you in mind if it all goes as planed. now to convince the fiance that this is a good deal . lol
