Well, here is tonights progress on my 1980 185 resto. The rear bearings are in and the front forks are on, does anybody like the black forks? I may go back to red, they needed a coat of primer anyways so no harm done if they are going back to red........so the front frame/fork bearings are newly greased and the skid plate is also on with the bearing carrier, this has taken me about a month so far. Feedback would be appreciated. I've already got the new decals from harlan lynse so thats covered, still a few more parts to find, overall I've got about $250 into her. AND to top the night off, my friends he-man, superman stopped by my good buddy Jack.

Front forks are on and axle house are in. Starting to slowly look like a trike again. I got another set of front forks on evilbay for 99 cents before shipping. Still undecided on leaving them black. I've been just real busy with the house since the weather has been nice.

What do you have for a grab bar? I have a NOS Honda one that was mixed in with some parts I bought. I thought it was for a 81-82R, but it's not. It has a 958 part number... makes it a 185 or 200 hardtail grab bar if I'm not wrong.
PLUS you really need to drive out to my place and ride. I'm about a 1½ hrs from the Peace Bridge.

Whereabouts my fellow NY'er do you reside? Are you southtowns? I could bring the BR out one weekend, the 200s is acting squirrely, probably the reZ gas I put in it!
I appreciate the offer on the grab bar but I've got a couple, BUT yours is in better shape.
