I'm going to order a cobra exhaust(slip it on over the stock header pipe) for my 250sx and I was wondering if I would have to jet the carb? I have been told so many different things I don't know what to believe so maybe you guys can help me out.

Chris, I've heard bad stuff about the quality of Cobra exhausts for quads, but have seen many on Ebay trikes for sale. Re-jetting usually goes hand in hand w/ aftermarket pipes. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but if you get popping on decell in gear, then you're running rich. Plus, you're elevation factors in as well, if I were you, I'd hold out for a Supertrapp on Ebay(requires re-jetting), or maybe ST still makes one for the SX? Check their site, Br!an................

I would see what the plug looks like first. On my 200s, it was always rich.
Put the bassani on there and took airbox lid off and leaned it out perfect.
