I am putting a 393 kit im my 350x (unless anyone has something really really good to say bout the 430 kit) and am debating getting a +2 or so ext swinger because Ive heard that it gets way too torquey to keep the nose down (that remains to be seen, and nothing will get extended until I do). I would like to be able to still ride the trails effectively, does the swinger hurt that very badly?

I believe 452X runs a stock length swinger as well. Go with the kit you want then test ride it to see if the length you have is good.

I don't think that a simple +2" will hurt anything. I have a +2" on my 250R and it handles fine.. probably as well as stock. Granted, its not a 350X, but its still a trike.

3leggeddog has a plus 3 on his piped motor. really helps him climb some hills. I think you should go plus 4. I cant notice any turning problems on his x but maybe he can. I put a plus 3 on my raptor and it didnt hurt the turning.

On my r's,2-3" is better than stock on trails, better on whoops and rough desert.I have a 5 1/2" on another r and its more of a pain on sharp corners, but still goes pretty good. The new 10"s-arm is a different story.I just found out today, that it sucks bad on any corners unless your on the gas!!II almost flipped it sideways a couple times going around a corner to slow!!
