Hello All. I'm the new guy with my 1st trike. My ride is a 1985 125M and I am a beat up 60 year old. Really all I need to know is where are the points on my 125m and what should they be set at? I bought a little Honda 90 trike for my kids about 35 years ago and just now got interested in one for myself. Problem now is the grand kids a going to take it from me. Any help on the points would sure help me.
Thanks, Gramps

I will try to add a picture. It's not beautyful at all but runs great.

Thats actually a pretty nice trike you got there. As far as the poits go, there are none . There is a CDI on the top left of your cylinder. that acts as the points. Describe your problem and we may be able to help a little better.

Thought that may be the case. I really don't have a problem. I replaced the plug and decided to do the points too. This old girl runs very strong. I will be looking for a tank. The guy I bought it from put a KZ 400 cycle tank on it, and it is a little far forward. It hits the forks when I do a hard turn. Also will I gain anything by pulling the stock air system off and going with a K&N system?

You won't notice too much really, but if you have a little extra money after the tank, it would be good; a new filter is never a bad thing.

That is a nice trike...I do love the 125Ms. As for the air filter, I have had both a UNI and K&N on mine and didnt notice much of a power gain on either. Just a tad bit of better throttle response which was a littler nicer for some of the hilly trails. I do however reccomend the k&n as IMO it "filters" and protects better. Welcome!
