My $50 Big red with new shoes and clean

Well as most know I bought this big red out of a field a few years back and after some bearings and new plastic it was running great.
Well I am trying to get it ready for trikefest since this is my hooptie big red, I need to have brakes on it to play in the mud. The front axle was toast so with Swinehart's assistance, I was able to put new forks on and change the brakes. Then I added some new tires for the rear and boy do I like the looks of them. They are Duro X treme tires 25x12x9. They look super aggressive and look like they would clean out nicely in the mud. They only cost me 104$ shipping from Dennis Kirk and I couldnt be happier.
Well I had to was her up since she got new shoes on.....I bet the neighbors think I am strange washing my trike in the RAIN! HAHA:lol:
Now time to get the MINT 87 big red finished and the 350x new forks on and I should be ready for trikefest.

$50? Man you stole that!! Looks like a real nice bike. My dad has been looking for an '85 for awhile now, and he can't find one. He would LOVE to get one for $50! lol

Looks nice, I was expecting a lot worse but instead I see a trike that is a set of good fork boots away from being a real nice machine.

looks kinda weird with the bigger tires in the rear, but overall it looks good

Well the rear tires are aired up to around 50 psi! LOL:eek: :eek:
And the front is really low, so once I air down and air up they should look much better together. I think I will end up putting on an OEM front tire eventually.
