Cam lobes up or down?

I'm putting my auto-x back together and trying to put the sprocket back onto the cam. The sprocket can go on two ways.....do I want the lobes pointing up or down while putting the little O on top?

Cam lobes Down, and O on the bottm i belive,,,,

My manual says O at the top, but says nothing about position of the cam?

Could be O on top....i havent done one in a while, But im postive cam lobes down, cause you have to set the motor at TDC pop the cam in, lobes down so the valves are Closed......then Set the cam chain on.......ect...
