Well, a while back, I tore my 83 250r up. I found a 300r cylinder, but it will need to be bored. Where can I get a new piston for the 300 cylinder. The guy said that 50 was stamped on the old piston, so I guess I will need to get it bored .60 over, but I to know what piston to get.

Also, how good of compression is 170 psi. ?

I was told a fl350 piston fit, but you have to be careful what kit you you have, hondaline or Mugen. A fl350 piston fit one of the two can't remember, also be aware that gasskets can be hard to get too, fl350 gaskets might fit also. I'm told most of the 300r stuff is discontinued.

I dunno where to get the piston, but look up posts under my name, and look for the jetski/300r compatibility thread. I think its only a few days old. Blazer told me which watercraft to get a piston from. Hope this helps, dave

Just out of curiosity, what is the diameter of this piston? Interested in possible Tri-Z use :D

Didn't Blazerone give the part number for a .50 overbore jet ski piston that would work?

I don't know if he did or didn't. I'm about to send him a PM to find out though.

Does LA sleeve make a piston for this?
