I am gonna order a 10" front rim for my 85/86 atc250r

I'm gonna order a 10" rim for my a 85/86 atc250r, Is there any trick you guys had with the front frame caliper clearing, thats the only thing of my concern. Also to all of you that have done this, what front tire are you using? I have a 86 350x caliper, is that gonna bolt on the atc250r and fit the rim as is?

no the 350x caliper is different.all you have to do is grind the cooling fins off the back side of the 250r caliper.then cut a 1/4 inch of each side of the hub.right in front of the wheel stud.thats it.

i run a regular holeshot on mine,21-7-10.works good so far.

where are you getting the rim? who makes it? Dave
