View Full Version : HUBS to RIMS and AXLES DATA BASE

As parts for our machines become scarce and swapping parts between models might save a machine. I think we should make a Hubs to Rims, and axles Data base.

Hub bolt patterns for example:
86/87 Tecate rear hubs are a 156mm x 4 bolt pattern
TRI-Z/banshee*/Raptor/YFZ450 rear Hubs are 115mm x 4
*89/90 banshee are 156mm x 4
83/84 250R hubs are ???mm x 4
85/86 250R hubs are ???mm x 4
84/85 Tecate hubs are ???mm x 4
83/84 200x hubs are ???mm x 4

You get the picture. Can anyone fill in some blanks?

From what I can gather the main 4 bolt hub patterns are
100mm x 4 (early honda?)
110mm x 4 (later honda?)
115mm x 4 (Most Yamaha stuff)
156mm x 4 (Kawasaki racers?)
Am I close?

Next, Hub to axle combinations. I can fit YFZ (Quad) hubs onto a 86/87 Tecate axle. Slightly loose but firm up nicely with a packing spacer and axle nut. But I can't fit 86/87 Tecate Hubs onto a YFZ axle.
What other Hub to axle combinations are viable????? (I don't mean smashing them on or "creating" extra splines......... (you know who you are), and

Lastly, Axle to machine combinations. What axles are interchangeable. For example; Apparently you can fit an 86/87 Tecate axle into an 84/85 Tecate?

There must be a wealth of knowledge our there Boys

02 blaster hubs will fit a 85 tri-z, 8? yamaha 200.
82 honda 200 hubs will fit a 86 200s.
they all have diff bolt patterns. not sure what they are tho.

85-86 tri z are 4-100 all blasters are 4-100 too
raptor-yfz-banshee-warrior are all 4-115 and will all fit on a 85-86 tri z axel

Spline count would be nice too. 84 KXT250A is 4/100 (13 spline). All KAwasaki Mojave and Polaris Predator are 4/156. T3 KXT250B are 24 spline like 200X and Yamahas (but do they fit?).

Its also 83-85 for the 200x, not 83-84:).

200 X hubs fit the 2nd gen Tecate.

OK so this what I have so far;

HUB stud pattern (# of splines x diameter of splined section) = Applicable Models

4 x 100mm (24 x ?mm) = 85/6 Tri-Z, All Blasters, YTM200
4 x 100mm (13 x ?mm) = 84 Tecate
4 x 115 (24 x 25mm) = All Raptor, YFZ, Banshee*, and Warrior
4 x 156 (24 x 24.5mm) = 86/7 Tecate, Predator, Mojave, 89/90 Banshee*
4 x ??? (24 x ?mm) = Years? 200x/s/m
Is correct?

What about you honda guys? Speak up or forever hold your piece.....

 I'll keep modifing this information as more people post on this thread

If anyone has any clue as to what other rear axles will fit a 1984 Honda 200M, that would be greatly appreciated. I'm looking to buy one, but not sure what else will fit it.

Thanks.

The only hub interchange that I know of is 250X/300EX/400EX/450R hubs will swap right onto an 83-85 200X axle. Those hubs will also get you about two inches of extra width over the stock parts.

OZQUAD44

Does that mean then:

HUB stud pattern (# of splines x diameter of splined section) = Applicable Models

4 x ???mm (24 x ???mm) = 250x, 300ex, 400ex, 450r, 83/4 200x

Gents What i'm asking is WHAt IS THE HONDA stud spacing 4 x 100? 4 x 110?

86 200x hubs will fit on a 96 Blaster didn’t believe my son till he showed me.

So if 200x hubs fit Tecate B1/B2 and 200x hubs fit Blaster then Blaster hubs fit Tecate. I made a thread about this and got no answers so now I am just gonna have to buy some Blaster hubs and find out myself.

OK This list is growing, this what I have now:

HUB stud pattern (# of splines x diameter of splined section on the axle) = Models

4 x 100mm (24 x 25mm) = 85/6 Tri-Z, All Blasters, YTM200
4 x 100mm (13 x ?mm) = 84 Tecate
4 x 115 (24 x 25mm) = All Raptor, YFZ, Banshee*, and Warrior
4 x 156 (24 x 24.5mm) = 86/7 Tecate, Predator, Mojave, 89/90 Banshee*
4 x 110 (24 x ?mm) = 83/5 200x/s/m, 250x, 300ex, 400ex, 450r
Is correct?

I need the Diameter of the honda and 84/5 tecate, splined sections.

Also a conformation of the diameter of the Mojave/Pred splined sections.

Blaster hubs will fit an 86/87 Tecate but will be a bit loose. Look at the chart above

Here is a nice chart that I have posted many times for honda bolt patterns.

Great chart, We need a chart like that for all the models.

It needs a bit extra info though, Like how many splines on the hub ends of the axle. Additionally the diameter of the splined sections.

Was this and OLD 3wheeling article?

Actually it was a Douglas Wheels chart they created to assist in finding wheels for your ATC. I am not sure if they have any other ones similar to that though.

I have an 81' 185s and I want to get rid of these split rims!! Can somebody help me???I think there's a yamaha three wheeler that has four lug hubs and one peice rims but I'm not sure.:(

OZQUAD44

If you look at the chart on page one you will see that the 81 has a 3x100 bolt pattern, rare!

other hondas had 3x100 do any of these models come w/out split rims (look at the chart) or buy some aftermarket rims to suit, or

count the splines under the hubs on your axle, then measure the diameter of the splined section (in metric please) then post your findings on this thread and I will be able to help you out some more...

This is situation is the reason I started this thread, If more people give a little information (like the hub spline info for hondas for example) it will benefit all of us

350x hubs will fit late model atc90 and atc110 and also 1982 185s, as I have had the hubs on all three. I would guess that later 185s and 200s would fit the 350x hubs also.

I know 83-85 200X hubs will fit later models 110's, along with the 185 and 200's. I have a set on my 110 an they work great.
