Hey guys. My clutch and front brake levers are loose (up and down movement). I took the things apart and it looks like the levers are worn down, and you can't just tighten the clamps. Is there a spacer you can put in, or do you guys know a good place to get replacement levers?

Thanks

try a bit of 'lectrical tape wound around the bars. 2 wraps should do it.

It's not the housing loose on the hanflebar. It is the leve loose in the housing. There is a screw that goes through the housing then through the lever and then tightens into the housing. It appears that the lever is worn so that it is loose in the housing (just has some up and down play).

Replace the Lever itself---if where it connects to the housing is worn down. Do you think maybe the housing is worn down istead? Check both...Replace whichever one is worn.

You can get a lever from Denniskirk.com

Thanks Tweeked. Got new levers from Dennis Kirk for 6.99 each.

Great deal, It should work now. My friends dirtbike lever (clutch lever) was always loose and he kept saying he was gonna replace it sometime...But never would. Well onetime along time ago we were riding and he droped it going up this hill and broke his clutch leve off so he HAD to get one after that. :D
