there is a woods racing sereis I would love to run and the organizer says he doesn't care either, but event insurance and the atva care and won't allow it. I sent atva an email about allowing atc's to race and I gave them a link to this site if they have questions about who wants to race there atc's, maybe they will give us a vintage class to race, who wouldn't want to see atc's racing at atv events, I know where I ride my atc's get alot of looks and when someone else shows up on a atc we almost always race and we are the only 2 on the track with 20-30 at the barrier watching us race. Who wouldn't want to see atc's at atco, and such. I would want to see it and I will bring my atc250r there instead of my quad.

Lots of people want to see atc's race but no one wants to see someone flip over and break their neck. A lot of people say that atc's are very dangerous and you could be killed on them, you could be killed on anything. They allow lean-overs to race and they go speeds up to 350km/h:eek: but the wont let 3wheelers race. I think they should have atc races but it just wont happen because of the safety factor:(

Id made 2nd place in AMA D11 SW Ohio Open ATV racing in 1989 (or was it 88? dont recall) till the A-HOLES at AMA bailed out on us PAYING MEMBERS because of liability. Our home track owner didnt like it either because the ATVs were a big draw, and fun to wach, but if its no longer sanctioned, it takes most of the magic out of it. And the draw.
So much for representing the riders. Thanks to the idiot Liberals in American Media for spreading lies abotu ATVs.
It wont change, its all about money. Have to go Outlaw to race.
Woods racing is I-T! Gotta try it if you havent.

If you dont like that you cant race a trike buy a quad. Thats the easy soultion.
Watch some videos of wrecks watch dirbikes, they wreck hit the ground and get back on and finish the race. A quad will almost always come back ontop of the rider. The same with a 3 wheeler. And for those of you that think a trike is as safe or stable as a quad your crazy. In some aspects of riding a trike is better but just about everywhere ill take my quad over my trike. 3 wheelers are more unstable than a quad or dirtbike Thats just life. If your that upset about not being able to race build a time machine and go back and race in the 80's. Becuase history has been written and you cant change that.

I did, thats old news. That was from feb 06, 4 months later, after both broken legs, broken arm, cracked skull, broken ribs and lots of metal in my body. Back to walking and riding, NOW, I'M CRAZIER THAN EVER. I'll hit jumps I never would have before. I returned back to work in june 06 (despite the doctor being unhappy).
