View Full Version : Could the SX actually roast tires?

:w00t: Well you guys know me so i grabbed a set of lawn mower tires that are basically slicks from my grandpa. 18" tires and I got them to bolt on today. I'll get some :pics: tomorrrow before and after I try to burn them. I havent even moved it yet with them on but right now it looks like either an old school flat track racer or a chopper :lol:. So do ya think I can get some smoke off um?

I'm sure you'll get a little burnout, but i dunno if they'll do much.

Im sure if you throw some gas on them and light them with cig lighter they might smoke. LMAO!!

It will do it, My ATC200 would smoke the knobbies right off the rims.....If it was up agaist a wall......lol

This is me on my 85 SX with 22" Cheng Shin knobbies on semi dry pavement. Can you say doughnut!

you said they are pratically slicks, how much rubber is on the ground? complete slicks would grab way too much and then you know what would happen.

Yeah thats what I was gonna say. But he will need to put the SX up against a wall because he has no front brakes.

Yep thats right honda200s1984. Noone would go with me to get a vid of the burnout so I took of pic of one of my powerslides and a vid of me playing in the field. Finally got her clean to :D
