I was riding my 82 ATC200 and it stopped running. Sounded like it ran out of gas. Towed it home and removed plug (new) next day. It was black so I cleaned it and checked for good spark. It fired up in 1 pull but only ran for a few seconds. I have gas and a good spark but won't start. Any ideas ? Thanks

You may want to check the carb. It could be dirty or clogged. Also, check all the lines leading to and fro the carb.

your problem is definetly fuel related. pull the carb off and give it a cleaning. i bet it will run better.
Dose your gas cap make a sucking noise when you take it off after a stall?

Check your vacuum lock on the cap. They always seem to play up.

sounds like you are getting too much fuel and it is flooding the motor. could the choke be sticking on? if not then i would bet a good carb cleaning would fix it.
