:D :pics: Look at what I stole from an old man for $400! Its almost mint. This thing is all original down to the tires. He said it had been ridden maybe 5 hours since new. Its a 1981 YT 125 Tri-Moto. Its runs grat and starts on the first pull everytime! I wish I could run across deals like this everyday. Let me know what ya'll think.

With 5 hours on??? I think 2 grand is not enough being how rae they are.

EXCELLENT FIND THERE!

Don't sell it though, the money you'll get will be spent and gone and a year down the road you"ll smack yourself in the head for doing so!

If not you, I'll come over and do so!

Great find.........The nicest one around for sure, how can anyone possibly argue that ??

KEEP IT DUDE !!!!

More closeup shots too! If there is only 5 hours the bottom should be imaculate too, lets see it tipped up.

Well it depends on what you mean by "almost mint” if it is only a few light scraps way from being new then you might see over a grand for it but we have to remember that it is a YT125, it's probably not on the top of many collectors lists. It was a good find and sure for $400 you got a great deal and it is worth at least a few hundred more.

very nice find. it looks great. i think it would be worth at least a grand easy. any less would be giving it away. it would be a shame to sell it though cause its so nice. buyer would probably tear it up unless it was someone who knew what they had. like huffa said whatever you would sell it for, soon the money would be gone and the trike which would be very hard to replace in that kind of condition.

Nice Find !

People collect anything I guess. Take it on that PBS program where they tell you what something is worth.

That would be interesting.

 :wondering How in the world did it go thru 25 years with out more hours on it? What's the full story on it? Where was it stored and are the tires dry rotted at all? Stored all those years with no gas in tank or carb?

Seriously, it's real interesting for me to know.

How did you find it?

If it was mine I'd call Kearny Yamaha and want to hear their opinion on the value of it, if anyone should know, they should.

That surely was a steal wasnt it. Nice find... I bet that guy was one of those people that want something really bad, then as soon as they take it home it sits and rots in there garage for years. I've seen it many times.

LIKE MY UNCLE!!!! who bought a new Arctic-cat 500 4 wheeler. 2 years ago. he rode it twice the first summer he owned it, and let it sit all last summer, covered up on the trailer in my Grandpas shed......

to each their own I guess, but I'd rather be riding!!!

OBTW nice find on the three wheeler guy!

I don't know all the story just yet. All I know it what the original owner told me. I am picking up the title tomarrow i will find out more then. No the tires are not cracked one bit and everything is in tip top shape they just took off the oil tank to run mixed gas but he is giving me that with the title. I have some closer pics of the motor with the fender off but I need to take more pics and its usually dark when I get home so I will work on it. There are a few minor scratches and some small rust specs on the handlebars but they will rub off with crome polish. I'm telling you guys for the age of this thing its in tip top shape, we rode it a little tonight and its a fun little machine for what it is. I guess i'm gonna sit on it awhile and think to sell it or not and IF I do I would have to pretty picky. Thanks for all the feedback ya'll!

You could be right but I think its a custom made one. That was the only thing I noticed too!
