'83 200e question

Quick question, I just got my 200e running and after i ran it a bit it still idles fast with the choke off. Where do I adust the idle speed? Dumb question, I know, but I need some help. Thanks....

On the right hand side of the carb there is a needle screw, turn it out to lower your idle or turn it in to raise the idle.

OK, THANKS!! I backed the screw off a bit and it idled great but started leaking gas thru the bottom hose off the float bowl. I take it there must be an "in between"?? somewhere?

It should not start leaking gas just because you turned that screw. You may need to rebuild your carb.

Sounds like your float is sticking either clean carb or run some fuel injection cleaner through gas tank should remove crud on float hinge.

Are you sure you turned the right screw??? There is the idle that is on the top right of the carb, then one on the bottom right that is for draining the carb.
