Well guys still no go, but its lookin better everyday lol.. well i cleaned the whole bottom of the engine and all the bottom componets and my god there was dirt caked on that thing lol.... well also while i was dickin around i took that oil plug off and checked it.. It came off fine there was a rubber seel and a filter im guessing i cleaned them both out and it looked alot cleaner! Finally i put my finger in the oil to see if it was all oil lol.... you guessed it i did smell gas in the oil what does this mean again? Also i polished up my tires and they look sooooo sexy lol... :lol:

If you have gas in there your float isnt set right, or your needle and seat are worn or Not Seated all the way in the carb body (if it has a screw in Seat)

no i had it on the bikes side. so i just took it out and cleaned it abit. why?

also how do you drain the oil just like wat i was doing but put the bike on a level surface right?

Why didnt you drain it and put new oil in? Thats the idea of doing an oil change. There will be so much gas and crap in the oil, its useless anyway.

i know i will but i dont want ot right now cuz my dad will get all pissed and stuff lol... so basically i empty it out "this weekend" then get some oil it says in my manual. But do i tilt it on the side again and pour the oil in there or what?

Why are you tipping the bike on its side? You drain the oil from that plug. Then you fill the oil through the oil fill hole on the right hand side of the motor. It takes about 1.8L's of oil. Then you put the dipstick back in and check the level.

You are in dire need of a manual...

DONT DO THAT, just pull a couple donuts on his front lawn and then go tip his car over and tell him that was obviously dangerous :lol: but the machines lookin good, i like that black front fender, gives the ol' gal some characteristic

exactly what i said to my dad lol above the front fender its something not orignal also guys my mom got so mad at me today.... lol long story.... i resprayed my exhauset pipe silver after i sanded it all down like 5 weeks ago man is this thing nice!!!! I used metal heat resistant paint and it looks sooo good! Also i dont remember if i told *Edited* guys but i also fixed my seat a while back "the hump seat" lol...it turns out a rock t shirt was under the padding aswell lol it was from a 1985 concert lol..... but now the seat is comfy and looks normal lol... overall this bike looks nice but still no go yet.... but it will.. thats all i gotta say lol

just wait till you get it started. the paint you used before you sprayed high tempature paint on will burn right off and there goes you nice looking exhaust!!
