Ok, here's the problem...
When I first got the bike, it was having difficulty with upshifting after riding for a while. I took the assembly apart and filed the basket and put it back together. During the few short test rides I went on, everything seemed to be just right. All the disks are in great shape and I can't imagine that a few hours of riding would waste the basket again.
Anybody got any other ideas for things I should check? As long as I ping the revs between shifts, it will go fine, but anything less than 3/4 throttle and it just won't go. I'm 98% certain there is plenty of oil in the case, but I am going to check that before my next ride too. Could I have too MUCH oil? Maybe a thicker or thinner oil? Can simple cable tightness/looseness cause this?
Thanx in advance for any idea/suggestions...
