Ok folks. I finally got the Big Red fired up. Here are a few before and after pics.
I still have some work to do. I am having tranny issues and I need to paint the exhaust. The seat has to be done. I am also missing the cover on the kicker side. But I think all in all it is coming out ok.

Yeah it is funny. Molly looks like she is thinking, "Man I can't believe he is going to work on this POS. "

Nice work, it looks so much better. Were you able to use a paint remover or did you have to wetsand?

I used paint stripper and some fine steel wool. The plastic needs to be redone.
I was just trying to get it to a point where I could see if it ran or not. The engine was missing and I found it in a pile of sand and gravel.

Thanks and man I wish.
This thing still needs a differential overhaul (got the kit) and I need to find out whats up with that transmission. Oh and the seat.
Doubt if I make it this year. It looks like fun.

Thank you and that is the most incredible picture of two trikes I have ever seen. That lake in the backround is awesome. Would make a great poster.

Nice job on the big red, keep up the good work. I only hope it goes as well with getting that engine to run again.

Engine runs. Matter of fact, it was idling while I shot these pics.
Now the transmission is another question. But I guess that is what you meant considering all these engines are the integrated type.
Thanks.
