My dad bought a beat up 1975 honda atc 90 in 1977, I was 15. I rode it until I went into the navy in 1980. I hadn't ridden 3 wheelers until a few years ago when someone I knew gave me a basket case klt110 and I got into it again, bigger than ever. Now I'm playing with the trikes I always wanted when I was younger. I like the crazy old school stuff. Suspension 70s', Suspension 185s' and I have most of the parts for a rd350 powered trike. I'm building a 180cc atc110 right now.

My grandfather owned a honda dealership. Been riding since I was 5. Mom and Dad both worked at the dealership and I spent my entire childhood test riding these things for the mechanics in the shop.

I started a couple of years ago. It was the cheap price that got me on my first one. I still have it is a 185s with the fromt after market front suspension. The thing hauled but. I think it must have been bored or the sprocket changed. I still have and plan on redoing it some time. Then the 125m got my hooked cause it floated. I lived in the swamps so that was great. Since them I have got to many to list & have also got a descent size atc junkyard.

Me and my brother were forbidden by mom from anything with a motor growing up. I bought my 1st quad at the age of 24, and had never ridden an ATC till I bought my 84 200S in Nov 2002, loved it, and have been HOOKED ever since. I can't wait to piece my 2 parts ATC's into a good 200M!!! My best friend was raised with trikes (110's and 125's) and he can not understand why I would rather ride my ATC's than quads. I guess alot of it is nostalgia and pride. Riding with friends that have new quads, and I'm on something that's 20+ years old just feels good. Since 02 been trying to find a sport trike that rips, and thanks to 3leggeddog, I found it!
LONG LIVE TRIKE LOVERS!!!!

I got my 200x and a Yamaha YTM200 two years ago from a co-worker. They had been sitting in her yard for several years. I agreed to mow her lawn all last summer for them. I wanted to see if I like ATV riding before I invested a bunch of money into the sport. I gave the Yamaha to a friend who was going to get it running and ride with me. Needless to say he was too busy with school and his new wife to go riding last year. Maybe this year he'll have time. Three weeks ago I bought a new Rancher. Now my wife and son go riding with me. Later this tear we are planning on buying another Rancher or Recon.

Rode my friends 90 or 110 (cant remember exactly, this was 1976 and I was 9) at his grandma's farm. Thought it was the coolest thing ever. Another friend had 2 1973 ATC70's, one stock, one bored out. I sold my HO scale train and bought the stocker (w/ a little help from mom & dad). Went to a cycle shop, got a used Bell helmet (open face) pair of DG wet weather riding gloves and Scott goggles and I was set. :w00t:

Watched my big brother ride our dads YTM 200 Yamahauler until I was finially old enough to climb on it. Was 11 at the time popping wheelies and spinning doughnuts in our driveway. Parents loved that I was out on that thing all through my teens instead of hanging with the bad crowd that was always around. Miss that old trike. Anyway, got passed a T3 basket case from my brother and its been trikes trikes trikes since then.

My father bought our first trike back in 1998,it was a 1984 200m. I loved it at the time. Me and dad restored it, then sold it in 2004. I went and bought another 200m for $160 and restored that one too, then sold it like 3 months later, now I have just bought a 250sx about a month ago and I love it. Ever since 1998 Ive loved 3 wheelers and will always have one !!:TrikesOwn :w00t:

i used to watch my cousin run into the woods with his friends on trikes back in the early 80s. i couldnt wait to grow up and get one myself.
my brother and i actually started out with dirt bikes since we never had a garage growing up in queens, ny. we finally started to buy quads and chain them up in the back. i even put in a larger gate so i could ride my atvs into the backyard. our first trike was a 198? atc125. We had to fix it since we bought it in parts for $50. it had a cracked frame and was all apart.
our dad taught us how to fix 4 stroke motors on that trike and a honda elite 80 scooter. we must have torn that engine apart and put it back together like 4 or 5 times.
anyway, friends had trikes while we were riding atvs. one had a 250sx and another person had a 200x. it wasnt easy finding them around since quads were so much more popular and the internet didnt really exist yet.
finally with the internet and this website i can finally access all the trike stuff i have always wanted. and now a garage that is quickly filling up with trikes and parts.

My uncle in the early (not sure what year) 80s farmed about three different properties all within a couple of miles of each other. He was in his 70s and bought a new Big Red. He took the paperwork to the courthouse (they didn't know what it was) and put plates on it! He rode it ON THE ROADS! He was crazy and FUN!I wasn't allowed to have one but I rode the tires off of his. I was a young teenager then, I'm now 38. Mom can't stop me now! I've got 4 so far.

Quads were'nt around when I was younger, when you learn to ride on a atc it just gets in your blood. Theres no challenge to a quad.
