Well, the 200x is commin slowly but surely. I had to wait for a carb. to come up on ebay off a running bike, finally found one. I got the carb on yesterday and after a few kicks and cussing and actually kicking the bike, it fired up. I didn't adjust any of the idle etc...because it was finally running, it idled and everything. It ran pretty good for a bout 10 minutes or so, I was able to rev it up with no problems and it idled fine also. Today I started it up after a few kicks(only to the kickstarter this time) and it ran just like yesterday. So i decided to go for a little spin around the yard(i have no brakes so i couldnt really ride it). It feels pretty quick from what i did and everything, but i noticed a weird problem. Whenever you ride it around in gear and press the throttle, you let go of the throttle and it still feels like you're holding the throttle for a second then it will stop. I pulled back onto the driveway, then it was idling a lot higher than normal, then it sputtered and shut off. I starte dit back up a few minutes later and it did the same thing...Whats goin on with my X fellas? Thanks in advanced....Josh

Sound like something wrong with the trottle cable.

Also, there could be a leak letting air into your engine and making it rev higher?

But if it were my throttle cable, wouldn't it do the same thing when the bike was sitting in neutral and i rev it up? Because if it's in neutral and i rev it up, it doesnt stick like it does in gear.
