Can you get a 10 inch rim for that bolt pattern brand new with, say a 22-23 inch tire? I checked Dennis Kirk for front rims for the 250r and none showed up.
What would you think is a better idea using the stock Tri-Z hub and have a rim custom made for that bolt pattern, or using the 250r front hub?

So the Z and R will swap right over? In that case a 250R and 200x front rims would also bolt right up as well?
Dammit!

I don't think the 200x rim is the same.

Jeb from the boards did it, I think he said he had to space the disk over a bit maybe?
All i'm wondering is if there are still front 10" rims available.

a 86-87 200x front wheel is the same, but the older 200x's are different.
douglas will still make a custom 10 inch wheel for the 250r.
the benifits for me would be more a shorter tire/more tire choices.
and a honda product on a yammy!

Haha..well, will they make a custom wheel for the Z? That would be easier.
Although, it doesnt sound like a big job to get this hub on there anyway.

I had a thread awhile back where I put the complete wheel/hub/axle from a 85 200x on my Tri Z. It bolts right up but the brakes have to be worked a bit. At that time I didn't have front brakes anyway, so I didn't care that they didn't fit.

I think in one of their earlier application guides Douglas Wheels offered a polished 12" front rim for the Tri Z, the part # said "CUSTOM".
If you only want a polished rim for your Z you could send them a mail,
the front rim dimensions are 12x6 3/3 4/205 8mm.
