Says it's for a FL350 odyssey. Would it work the same if it was used on a 350X or 250R? Anyone know what the difference is?

Two Stroke versus a four stroke I thought ...not sure about the 250r application??

Pulse per revolution by the electrical system by how many time the engine is actually spinning to make one complete power cycle.
For a four stroke you spark one time but the piston goes down up down up before it sparks again. Two stroke, sparks goes down and up and your done.
That tach is driven by the spark pulse. Does this help?

Rover, that's what I thought. It should work on a 250R I think. Maybe not 100% correct but what the hell.

Yes it will work on a 250r or any other two stroke. If you put it on a two stroke it would read half as many rpms as were actually happening.

IF its made for an oddesy then it would work because the FL350 is a 2-stroke
