350X Headlight on 86 200X

Hey guys, well i sold my Sx headlight that was on my 200x for 61 bucks and I'm gonna get a 350x one. Before i get one i need to know if everything will work right and i did a search and a thread said that a 83-85 200x will blow the 350x bulbs. Will my 86 blow the bulbs?

Most likely unless the voltages and regulators on the 86 were different.

Oh well that sucks..... can anyone confirm this.. and how much and where can i get a 350x voltage regulator
