I'm going to have to get you some pics of my Z (or SX?) ontop of the gravel pile down at HRI later today. HRI is a place that makes gravel, sand, asphalt, etc and they have probably 50 or more monsterous piles of sand, gravel, and such. Most of the piles are very small right now because it is still mildly cold and they don't really start making much until it gets warm out. I can still get a nice picture though.

Lol he sees sky blue yammis and gets some blues ;)

And I think i figured out how to get rid of the dirt look, new plastics :beer. I washed it after the ride and the rear plastics were stained in spots so I think when I get some money back from the government I'll order some rears.

Yeah i'll agree with that. I went into a mud spot 2 weeks ago in first and just sank, kicked it into second and it went right over on me. They grab like mad in mud.

On those stained spots.. would like whitewall cleaner or bleach or anything work? White is a very easy color to clean because you don't have to worry about taking color out of it.

The only thing that will get the stains out is shaving the plastics down. The big ones are right where the kicker goes on either side and it just isnt any fun messing with it. I have some white krylon fusion stuff I was gonna paint them with but I dont think it will stick good. Its only the rear that has the stains too, the front cleaned up nicely.

why is it called a sx-x does it have a 350x motor in it

Tri-ZNate
03-27-2006, 11:04 PM
its what you basically call a 250sx with a 200x or 350x front end.

03-27-2006, 11:05 PM
oh ok what kind of front end do you have

Tri-ZNate
03-27-2006, 11:12 PM
200x, if I could do it all again I might go with the 350x since it is a little taller, but I've very pleased with how it has held up.

On a side note, has anyone noticed my polished throttle cover :D?

looks like you had fun, your lucky to have a nice place like that to play around in. the closest stuff to me is 20 miles away.

the krylon holds up pretty good, just do a few really light layers. 'dust it' is a good term. when i covered my red plastics black, i did some thick layers and they chipped :(.

It gets boring though unless you have friends to ride with, like on this day we began with 3 people total and ended with 10 lol. Wasnt even expecting 7 more to show :w00t:
