Vintage Hondaline Track Kit

I found a old{still in the crate}rubber track kkit for the Honda TRX 250/250es Big Red. This guy told me he had it and this is what it was supposed to fit, does that sound right to you people???He what for Honda dealers most of his life so he is up on his history and the price of what it should sell for. Any info from any of you would be great. Thanks

I've heard about those, my first trike was an 83 Big Red 200e and I could never find one of those. If you have pics I'd like to see them, even if it's crated or whatever.

I'll have to go see him and get a pic or two. If my memory serves me correctly, he wanted $400 for the kit. It will be a month before I can get down to see him. I will post pics as soon as I get them.

I'm hoping to go and see this guy this weekend, I will get some pics {of his barn full of ATV parts}. This guy used to buy all the old inventory from the local Honda,Yamaha dealership.He is a cool guy, with a lot of knowledge.

well I'm pretty sure he will let me take pics , once I tell him that I just want to show the other trike people his stuff. He likes to talk about the old vintage machines. I will mention to him about this site. I was talking to him last year, and he told me that he got some new disassembled 350x parts from the dealer. Complete front end for an 86, and sold it to a local youngster who needed them to replace his bent ones.

Had a good day on finding some nice NOS stuff at Phill's today. Sorry, but the pics that I took of the Track kit come out too dark to see anything{didn't set the camera on extra light}The track kit was for a 86-89 Honda TRX 250 fourtrax and was made by Kimpex! my mistake on listing it as a Hondaline accessory. He said he wanted $600 for the kit{still in the crate}. He was thinking about listing it and alot of his other NOS parts on Ebay here soon. But I did find some[4] speedo kits ,1 for a 350x , 1 for 250es , 2 for 200es , 200klt fork ext kit, 1 ALT shroud{with the 15 actual miles on it!] 1 1986 ATC 125m headlight bracket/guard, 1 Big Red headlight guard.

um dare i ask, What exactly is this kit and what is it used for???
Well,according to this guy{phill} he said it was an Accessory for a 1986-89 TRX 250 Fourtrax and was made by Kimpex NOT A Honaline item{My fault on that} he said they didn't sell many because they steered like heck with these on. These are roughly 15" wide x 4 ft long. They look like and old suspension and track off of a Elan snowmobile .

Thanks MT, I had him set out some other NOS Honda parts for me for the next time I go down to see him, I ran a little short on cash today so I coudn't buy everything I wanted. Next time!:w00t:
