Thanks for the comments guys, I only get a digital camera every once in a while so I take advantage of it. All the pics I can. I still gotta buy some new spyder grips and other misc things. Going to have 2 SWEET tri-Z's when Im done. Shame I gotta sell one :(
Look forward to thread in the local riding forum on my saturday ride. Hopefully it involves a 700 raptor, a shee, 450r and others. Stay tuned!

nice trikes! I have found one "parts trike" in all of southern la. and you have 3!!!
(btw i bought that trike for 20$). The engine in that pic looks like a 185/200 the clutches should fit. Look at the bottom of the cylinder, it should have a stamping that will tell you the size. Dave

Around 1200 CAD. I still gotta swap some parts to make 2 nicer ones though.

I personally think $900 is a very price for a Z.
And I've told you before that I like the pics, but I'll tell you again. Nice collection!

that looks like a 185 motor. tell me this , if the motor was upright( like it was in the frame) right above the spark plug and behind the compression realease lever on the head , is that a bolt that goes into the head? if it is i'm running mine with out one.(oh shot). if it is do you know why its there. by the way mine is a 1980 atc 185.

Is it toward the edge of the head? Is there a bolt on the other side that matches it? If I am right, I think you are talking about the bolts that hold your head onto the bottom end. But I'm not sure if thats what you mean..

if you look in the first pic on the head there are three fins, at the bottom of the fins in between the first two is the bolt i'm talking about. on my 185 it is a tapped hole with no bolt in it . i looked at some pic's of a 185s head in an old mag and there was no hole that i saw. i just thought thats how a 1980 was. i wonder the purpose of this hole?:wondering

That is a nice Family you got there, I see you even have the twins together in 2 pictures there, they are so cute, I would post a pic of my family, but they dont get along. You know how it is, the quad is jealous of the trike because the trike has 1 less tire.

The motor you have is a 200cc motor. It is either a 82-83 200e motor. How can I tell this from the pictures? In the 1st picture of the motor you can see the case where the electric starter fits. This narrows it down to either a 200e, 200es, 200m, or 84 TRX200 motor. Then in the second picture you can see the front sprocket for the chain drive. You can also see the the gear and shaft for the sub tranny. Being as the 200es and 84 TRX200 was shaft drive those are eliminated. The 200m's had chain drive but no sub tranny, so the 200m is ruled out. This leaves only the 82-83 200e motors as the only possibility. The vin number on the plate beside the shift shaft will confirm the year, model, ect.
But at any rate the clutched and such are the same, and will work in your 200.
Nice pictures by the way. I can't wait for TF!!!

Sweet Josh! Looks like you got a nice old barn there too! This summer we need to do some riding! (Maybe over Easter even????)
Here's a "family" pics I took last fall.... this was prior to striping the green paint off the BR some more and picking up the US90. Someday I might get the Yamaha's going and do their own photo shoot! hahhaa

That hole is for the compression release mount for trikes that have the automatic compression release tied into the pull starter.

Hmmmm.... I assumed I'd be driving. I'm heading out to Swinehart's, but I'll probably have a trailer to bring back my girlfriends 225DX. Guess if my trailer was MT heading out, it wouldn''t be a problem.... I can drive home through Ohio.
Bruce
PS -- By the way, I went riding with Bryan Raffa tonight with his Tri-Z. His sounds sweet! I haven't driven a Z since back in the day!
