The nut on the clutch finally made me mad today so i ended up making my own socket to fit it. I figured the stopper pawl was gonna be bent but when I got in there nothing looked broke or bent. Could I have another problem or am I just missing something here? Howdy everything look good? (Original issue was it would go into 2nd, 3rd, and 4th but would soon kick out into a neutral like position)
Did you check your shifter forks. It sounds like the fingers might be worn.

Weak springs. Replace the springs on the shifter mechanism, it should just need the spring that goes behind the shifter paw but I would replace all of them since you are in there and they are just a couple of dollars each. Also check to make sure there isn’t a crack in the shifter paw arm, doesn’t happen too often but I have seen it.
Having a weak spring or a combination of weak springs in there will cause problems like the machine popping out of gear, the shifter not returning, or having a false neutral in-between gears.

ok. I was moving the lever there and it didnt want to pop back to the middle position without me doing it. Sound like weak springs as well?
