Looking for a carburetor for my honda 250 sx. The pilot was drilled crooked from the factory. ran like *Edited**Edited**Edited**Edited* since it was new. Just dug it out of a barn and need a good carb. I have heard 350x carbs are a better upgrade?? Please someone help me out.

you can use a 350x carb but if your machine is stock you need to do a few things

1. rejet because stock jetting for the X will be too rich
2.You will have to unhook the air intake (the tube that lets air into your airbox, not air into the carb) then slide the carb in, and then hook the air box intake back on. Its a tight squeeze but it can be done.
3. Other than that it slipps right on without modifications. Gives you alot more punch at the throttle, oh and your SX throttle cable will work for the X carb too. Good luck
