110 no spark

so i got this 1980 honda 110 & it dont have spark what is the first thing i should look for ?these motors are points& condenser nto cdi can i convert it to cdi ?

points, the '82 was the first to have CDI

Check the gap on the points first. Have you checked to see if plug is any good?

Try cleaning the points with a small file,it worked on 2 of mine.I think the thing that rides on the shaft lobe gets worn to so the points dont open when worn,so you may as well just get some new ones and put them in there.
