This machine is Trikefest bound   . We are actually starting on the machine tonight. The 350 project is on hold due to a broken welder so its got to hang back a little bit. This machine actually runs but the Transmission is Gone. Anyway, I am going to see what I can do with it.

Right on... I think I may have found me one here finally... I'm keeping my fingers crossed... I have a complete 85 SX tranny if that helps out any...

Hmm definatly interesting. A red/purple spray bomb gone bad from the start (and is that purple paint on the header?!?!?!?!?). You have fun with that project :D. The SX looks good however.

I've never seen a suspended Big Red without a rear rack. What are those rear fenders off of and how are they mounted? Big Red fenders of that year are mounted to the rack, which is in turn mounted to the frame. Just curious.

The rear fenders are from an ealier Bigred (82-84) I think, they have some interesting brackets made to hold them onto the machine. Its actually black paint in "shadow grass" camo or something like that as I was told?..

Blazerone22 I am getting another complete engine to go on it but thanks a bunch for the offer

John and Howdy I am going to get into it full throttle hopefully Sunday and I will start making a list of all the stuff I need for it and be getting with yall on it. Ready for a motor swap at Trikefest? I'll bring the beer

Yes, I bought that one from the original owner who actually still remembered the salesmans name that he bought it from. Its on its way to HondaATC's next weekend though.

I mite have a part or two in my stock.LOL ,As far as the tranny problem,I am sure we are on the same page as far as the shifter assembly on the left side of the motor! Let me know if I can help!!!

Here is a picture of the shifting parts. I have put arrows to the 3 most common problems ( with shifting problems on Honda 250cc motors ). These are under the left side cover and are normally pretty easy to fix.
