I think there may already be a thread about this, but I couldnt find it.
What do you guys do to seal up the pipe at the cylinder? Mine leaks BAD. I had it stopped for a while with some stuff, but it eventualy broke down and it leaks again.

No, he doesnt have one for the Z, but on the R's I think the pipe actually bolts to the cylinder, on a Z it just slips on and springs hold it.
I guess I'll have to find a high temperature sealant and give that a shot.
Thanks

Cory, get some fireplace "door sealer rope" from your local hardware store (thin stuff) the kit comes with a specialty glue, cut what you need and use thread from the excess rope to stitch it together, glue it on your head pipe, then slide it in your head, it won't stick to your head, but it will seal up must of your leakage.

i use red hi temp silicon its about 4 dollars at any canadian tire. It worked perfect on my CR85 only it took about a day to reach its full strength

Anything but a leak!! Ive used orange hi-temp RTV on the sealing ring on the 250R, works well, but where your pipe leaks gets much hotter.
