now, i love to come to you guys with a good problem.... a problem that everyone wishes they had.... i got the 330R tuned in.... droped another main jet to a 180, and a 37 main on second clip of the needle... cleaned the air filter again and took the lid off... and the thing doesnt hesitate at all... i have NOT gotten past half throttle with her tuned in.... as she does nothing but wheelies.... you get near the power band and up the wheel goes....but you wanna ride with buddies and keep the front on the ground you ride the torque curve... YES a torque curve on a short rod motor!!! so i come to ask... what all size swingers you guys runnin>? i have a +4 iam thinkin about puttin on but not sure if i want to go that long..... the bike is estimated by two performance shops ESR, and Trinity Racing to have near 60 RWHP.... EVERYONE BUY ONE OF THESE ESR 310 kits..... i got mine used bored to .60 over.... equals 337.... LOL... but thats the final bore.... Iam pretty proud as i have matched parts for customer quads when i use to work for a performance shop and loved hearing the customers love their work that was done.... but i truely can grin when i start this puppy up and take her out for a spin.... already settled all my bets with freinds... and the bike with 21 inch haulers hit 88 mph on gps a few weeks ago......i love this thing... but what all size extended swing arms do you all have? and whats your currect 250R set up

If it were me, I'd be trying to find a +2 to borrow or something to see if that's enough to do the trick. I'm a firm believer in not extending swingarms just for the sake of doing it. My stocker is extremely borderline with my mods but I kind of like it that way. Makes it more fun to ride to me. One more mod and I'll be looking for a +2 though for sure. I'd have to do something that netted a pretty huge power increase to consider a +4.
You being probably 40 or more pounds heavier than me though, a +4 might be the right choice. Us little guys actually have an advantage in keeping the front end down. We don't effect the center of gravity quite so much. ;)

yah... cause i did one balls to the wall pull with my R... 1st and 2nd are two quick of gears to loop... but i speed shifted into 3rd and it sent me straight on my back and the bike keep going... now this was easy 20 something miles a hour so i didnt feel to good fallen off the back of the bike .. LOL.... i would love to find a +2 that wasnt 50 billion dollars.... they are all like 320.... lol.... anyways... if some one had a junky stocker they want to get ride of i would take it...

and i second it... i love how having mys tocker without the 330 kit was a wheelie machine and you could handle it... but with the 310 netting around 60RWHP and what they are syaing close to 40 ftlbs of torque its crazy....

Since you already have a +4, throw it on there and see how you like it. Get a chain long enough and if you decide you want a +2 instead you can have some links taken out.

I have a 330 on one of my bikes. All I can say is it depends on what you do when you ride it. If you are going to drag race it, then use a +10. If you actually want to ride it normally, I would keep it to +4 max. The bike will feel "big" with the longer arm. I run the stock arm. I like the excitement of it. I'm actually going to a -1 for flat tracking.

before you bored .60 over and you just had the 310cc, could you get by with just the stock swinger? someday i'm hoping to buy and ESR 310 kit, but since I woods ride I'm not looking to buy a longer swinger.....

I have a 310 also. I made my own swinger out of 2 stockers. It's +5, & when she gets a grip It will still throw Ya. The longer you extend the swing arm the less fun It Is to corner. You kinda need to decide If you want to drag race It or all around ride It. If you lower the suspension down, It makes them a little less wheelie happy, but with the power of the 310 the front end will always be light.

Try loosening up the a rear shock spring tension a little bit first before you invest in a swingarm and see if that helps any.

The -2 I have on my new build up is starting to make me nervous. It's not running yet but the other night I was sitting on it and it seems like I'm sitting directly over the rear wheels.

i personaly love the feeling of the front end wanting to come up at any time.... but its making so much power that you CANT ride it.... ask AZhondaGrl.... i couldnt go up china wall, pattonvalley, com hill 2 or 3.... and the only hill i could make it up was olds cause it wasnt as straight up.... i neeed something to keep the front down.... and i doubt the +4 will keep it form wheeling... cuase if you mash on it HARD... like full throttle all the way it sitll has enough torque or feels like its going to laugh at my +4 lol... .i love how it runs tho... from 5th to 6th.it wont wheelie as bad and it takes off like a crouch roket.... 88 mph toped out in 6th LOL
