Well long time no post for me. The 250es should finally be in action once again this weekend as I have had the top end done and it just needs assembling. I have got a wiesco hi-comp piston to put in it, cant wait! Should go a bit better I imagine...

My question is, is there a cam that will go into my 250es that will give it a bit more of a performance gain? And will using a diffrent (more aggresive) cam with the new piston enhance the workings of the hi-comp piston? Or is the cam and piston two diffrent areas of power? ( If you get my drift..)

Thanks for any replies...I will let you know how the installation all goes.

Matt

I'm pretty sure that the cam would help.. I'm not sure what though.. lol. Try poweroll..I think they are the ones that make aftermarket cams..

They say the cadilac north star conversion makes them run pretty top.

...just be sure to upgrade the exhaust and intake, or the cam loses effectiveness.
