I know without picrtures, hard to say but... the guy I got my 200s from has a 200X, the plastic is faded, seat needs redone, some sort of headers, its got a extended swingarm, and it looks wider than stock. its got wiesco pistons stickers on it, he thinks its been hopped up back in the day, We fired it up it smoked a little, but then it hasn't been ran in over a year and the gas smelled funky, but he tells me it ran and shifted fine tires need some air. Not sure what year it is as the plastic is all after market. say its a 83 or 84 whats a decent price on something like this. say it runs and drives needs cleaning but everything works. I know alot of you folks find these things for next to nothing, but I've been looking for the last year or so and haven't had any luck. I figure if Im going to spend some money on one, id like for it to have a suspension. I still have the 200s figure a X would compliment each other. Jim

By the sounds, I'd say about $500. I payed $300 for my clean running/driving 200x, but then again, I was REALLY lucky. I wouldn't pay anymore than $600.
But we really need pics.
Oh, and it depends where you are at in the US too. It seems like 200x's are dirt cheap here in the IN, MI, & OH region.

I don't know your local price market, but I would say $500 would be fair if it works and looks ok...offer $300 or something and see what happens.

Im hoping to go and look at it again this weekend, I sold my last 110 for $300 and a real nice 200s for $500, Really don't know enough about the 200x but after doing a search on here, the thing is white. I don't know if its a later model. He told me he paid $800 for it years ago, but used it alot, Im hoping when he comes up with a price it will be reasonable. I hate to haggle, the
200s I got from him I traded a old .38 special. changed plugs and fired right up! Seems the 200X trikes in the papers are usually over $800. I missed out on 2 a couple of weeks ago, the guy wanted $750 for a runner and a complete trike that didn't run and a 3rd frame with titles. Just got it in my head I didn't want to spend the money. looking back I should have bought them, made a real nice one, and one not so nice one, and still had a spare frame. I really like to fix these thing up and get them running, really hate to see them parted. Jim
