What do you guys think? Obviously photoshop cant do the colors exact, but it can get it pretty close. Frame I'm thinkin should be the same grey/silver that the swingarm is painted stock. I'll definetly go to a polished wheel on the front instead of the gold one. The plastics would have to be painted the Yamaha blue but I think it could be done and look nice. Maybe a piece of a graphics kit off of a quad or something to help spice it up.

Looks pretty good, maybe a darker grey for the frame. Can't you get maier front and rear fenders in blue?

I agree, maybe a darker gray/silver. Other than that it looks pretty sweet. That will be alot of paint on plastics. If you do alot of trail riding you'll regret it. I know my old fenders were brittle and yellow and I painted them black until I got my new black ones. Everytime I hit a twig the paint would flake off. I turned it over once and busted all the paint off the right rear side. It was the Fusion plastic paint.
Just a thought. Good luck.

It looks better than I thought, I agree darker gray on the frame.
1. Are those stock triple clamps holding on to those upside down forks?
2. how does it handle with that mud tyre on the front compared to stock

Stock tripple clamps are long long long gone :D Do a search for inverted forks for more info.

It handles pretty good with the 489. At the time it was the only tire option I had. The Tri-Z has a kind of oddball 12in rim size where all the Hondas have an 11.

Jeb, Yes it sure has. Let me upload a picture of it when I brought it home. A long long way it has come.

I like the color, I dont know if it would look better with a darker frame or not. Try matching the swingarm color to the fenders (blue) and see how that looks.
