I pulled my r out after 3 months of a pretty cold winter..I didn't drain the gas or oil out of it before it got cold like i should of..My question is, after i drain everything and put fresh fluids in can i just fire her up or do i need to do anything special before trying to start it..Dumb question i know but i've never gone this long without riding or atleast starting it lol...Thanks!! :TrikesOwn

All I can say is maybe through a fresh plug in it give the carb a quick rinse with clean gas to soak the old gas off and it then should fire right up.

I usually just choke it and off I go. My ice bike will sit for months without touching it. I'll start it every couple months and run it for a few minutes. 3 months is nothing to worry about. I guess you could be more formal than me, but I don't think it's a big deal.

Your bike only sat idle for 3 months?! Your good to go! My 250R has sat much longer with no problems. After all, they are Hondas.

Put some fuel stabilizer in it next time you store it. Run it a few minutes after adding it and you will be good to go.

I wouldn't change fuel after just three months unless it was sitting outside or something.
