I just got back from a salvage yard today and thought i would share a few pics.
She, yes (She-The owner also known as "Motorcycle Momma") has alot of older stuff most of it has been picked over throught the years, but i was still like a kid in a candy store!
I scored an '86 R frame, front end and swinger. (first pic)
She had a boat load of 350x frames, as well as 250r and 200x. I saw 2 Tecates and a couple of 86-87 200x frames. not sure of the one pic of the old R 81?-82?
WHAT ELSE DO YOU GUYS SEE?.....

I see a ton of 250R frames.. and most of them look to have nice swingers on them. Did she have any '86 350X frames?? If she did, did you notice any calipers on the swinger? I really need an '86 caliper slider and bracket!!

I wasnt really looking for the x frames, so i didnt notice.
However i do see a complete 86 x front end in the pics, even has the slotted center rim, so it would stand to reason there is at least one 86 (probably more)
stuff was everywhere!

I wish I could find a place like that around here. I see a couple of tecates laying around. I would love the front fender off of the one front end in the second set of pics? Do they have any bike parts? If so how are the prices?

These may be repeats...
The R was in pretty good shape.

Well she is a "Homely" lady, so i guess if you are brave enough you could get just about anything you wanted for next to nothing.
Just kidding....Some prices she quoted me were way high, and others seemed fair.
The R frame i got (the nicer looking 86 frame and forks) i got for $40.00
Im going back up to get a couple of R seats one is the thin 85 and the other is the thick 86, both are really nice seats oem covers, no tears but the cover is old and hard, new cover and they would be great seats. $20.00 each...NOT BAD!

Take more than THAT to WANT to go to W.Virginia ! J/K peeps, don't get all wound up. Nice looking boneyard there. Lots of small stuff could be found I imagine. In the pic with the R that has the tank, shroud and headlight on it. I think I see a rear brake caliper. Good item. More pics?

I saw 1 or 2 aftermarket frames I believe, hard to say as they were in a distant picture, I kind of like the funky aftermarket stuff. I would be looking for the fork extension for the 90\110 and any other aftermarket type goodies.

I will agree with you this is a sad sight as in terms off all the junk trikes but at least they are not all cut up and melted down yet, there may be a couple of good parts in there for those who want to rescue them. I really want to go!!!! Sorry to see all the fenders sun faded. There has to be some aftermarket stuff in there and I notice a 88 or newer TRX250X frame so there moght be some parts for the quads. I NEED to go!!!!

there is a guy about an hour away from me who has a yard with that much stuff if not more. its in angie, la his name is toan, a oriental fella. if i ever go back i'll take some pic's. has anyone else from louisiana on here heard of him? last time i was there i walked around at least two hours. he had a web page i think it was called toans parts on the net. it was a sight all the dead trikes. sad part about it is in south la. time is not on their side with our climate.

That is kind of sad. If those trikes could speak, they could probably tell stories of good times.
We have a junkyard here like that and the guy is a complete ass. He thinks the parts are worth gold prices when I can get them off e-bay or repro parts for half the price.
Gotta face it, we better keep what we have running and nice because you give it another 10 or 15 years and parts will be practically extinct!

Looked like I saw a couple 87 200X frames. They were tubular instead of round.

anyone in tucson? theres a guy local thats got a yard with about 20-30 honda trikes or maybe more, you just go into his yard and makes you want to cry. he fixes some, sells parts and when the thing is stripped he cuts the frames and sell em for scrap. Jim

Are you really having that much trouble finding a set of those extenders?? I have a bunch of them. What year 110 are you wanting to put them on and I will see what I have.
You said something about the guy having 20-30 trikes in the yard that just set around, including my runner's last time I counted I had over 50  . I very slowley get around to them.

Im going back up in a few weeks.
Like i sad before most of her stuff has been picked over throught the years! mostly frames and swingers and front ends. A few little brackets, rubbers and other goodies here and there. Her yard is pretty big, i quit snapping pics after i found what i was looking for, I walked around the side of a building and there was another large pile of frames with front ends and swingers,(no pics of it).
I would be willing to pick up anything you or anyone else needs and ship it. Im not looking to make money off of you guys, If you see something and want it, Pay her asking price and shipping, i dont need to make money off of you guys! just looking to help anyone and hope someday the favor to be returned.
