do 85 and 86 big reds have diff gear ratios?

went weeling with a buddy yesterday, both stock weelers no mods. and his was faster. seamed to be geared differently, like my 85 was geared lower. Are they?

They should be geared the same, his may have better condition bearings than yours. Is any of your brakes engaged slightly? that could cause it...and what air filters are yall running? different exhausts?

Don't forget tire size will change things too, even if you both have the same size tires he might be more stretched out.

Yeah the size of your ARSE :lol: plays a big part also. :D Weight will definately slow you down.
