'85 and '86 Swingers?? Help me!

So.. I got a '86 350X swinger from rangerover believing that it would fit on an '85 because all of the eBay ads tell me that '86 swingers fit both '86 and '85.. is this true?? Everything seems to be the same for the most part other than a few small things.. I haven't checked measurements yet. But the one concern I had was that the '85 has a mount kind of thing that the bracket that holds the caliper stable bolts into, and the '86 doesn't..
I was just curious whether the '86 swinger fit on the '85 or not.. I'm hoping it does!!!
I'll get pictures later for anyone who doesn't know what I am talking about.

The swingarm will fit... but you need the 86 caliper or at least the caliper slider and the holder... And as much as calipers cost these days I'd just find a 85 swingarm... I think there was a complete brake setup on ebay now for like $9000.00...
