Has anyone ever put a snow plow on a 250 sx? Is there a company that makes them for 3 wheelers? any info would be appreciated thanks.

I saw one for sale on ebay awhile back. 250sx at .org might still have the info.

I've wondered the same thing---I've got a big red and would like it if I could mount of snow plow on it somehow. The guy that gave me my trike told me that he's seen them before and almost bought one, ohwell.

Plowing is a thing Quads do far far better than Trikes....keep that in consideration (getting a quad).

Haha- Yeah, You do have a point there.
I'll leave my Big Red with just playing---Don't wanna work her too hard. lol

My brother had one for my SX. He only put it on once but then took it off because not enough traction for anything over 5" (he even had Blackwaters on) He sold it a few years ago

There was someone around here (the site) with a plow on a 250sx, and it looked pretty goofy, but he said it worked well. I would stay away from the plows if I were you, few things can handle them. Trucks can barley, my tractor has a hard time in packy snow, and the wear and tear is immense. I've seen way to many quads with shot front ball joints after a winter or two, and other damaged parts cuse they pack weight on the front for traction.

ChrisD. has one on his 250SX. We only use it to plow an oval on the ice and then we use it to maintain that oval. With a set of studded holeshots it plows pretty well but we have never used it to plow on anything but the ice. It doesn't look too goofy, it is basically a piece of tubing bent into a "U" that goes from a bracket on one footpeg to the other. It was made by cycle country and I am pretty sure it has been discontinued for many years.

Don't pick on the plow. It works fine for what we need it for.

Who's picking on it, I love the damn thing. I shoulda bought that trike instead of my 350x!! I have almost as much fun plowing the oval as I do racing it. Happy belated birthday by the way. Are you ready to crack out the street bikes? The weather is looking good.

I found this walk-around video on YouTube. The guy has 4 walk around videos. This link is for Part 1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=utwARpn0YUk Video #3 isn't so good, but #4 makes up for it.

He's also got a bunch of good videos of himself actually plowing with his Big Red. Hope all this helps.

I have a cycle country plow set-up for my big red. I have plowed 10" of snow with it pretty well. t was way cheaper then a snow blower or plow for my truck.

Here is mine after plowing 2 years ago. No snow last year to plow.
Now mine was changed from the standard size Cycle country plow to a larger plow. Instead of 3 positions for plowing, mine has 5. Heavy duty breakaway springs too.
