what kind of paint would hold up on a plastic gas tank.any help would be nice:beer

I doubt any will because those gas tanks breathe throught the tank.

You need to line the tank with either, Red kote or kreem (or similar) before you can paint the tank. otherwise as wheeliepop said the gas will breath through the plastic

Ive painted plastics before but ended up stripping it off cause it cracks and peels easily. But im sure theres a good way to do it, i just dont know it.

After following slothminx's advise I'd use the new Fusion spraypaint for painting plastic. I've used it on stuff and it worked good. But you have to remember that you rub up agianst the gas tank so it might not last that long....
