Ok its done by my hands. The brake systems are not on it yet but it going to its new home this afternoon. They will be installed there. Its not like an NOS resto or anything like that but it was never intended to be. This machine will be rode often so we werent going for a showroom peice persay. Thats why it sports Maier plastics and the Graphite accents. Well, what do yall think? If you knew what this thing looked like before I started sheesh. One more back from the dead, just like it needs to be!!

Here's a link to the thread I had that has the pictures of the 2 (if you want to call it that) machines it started from. Yeah I rode it, but between no brakes and a completley rebuilt engine (from the crank up) I was very easy with it.

yea, brakes are kinda needed. did you do a stock build on the engine or did you build it up a little?

Hey, I have an old chrome headlight gaurd for a 200X. HOw do you think it would look on there? Its slightly tweeked but I can straighten it without any problem. IF I install it on that machine then I will have to find the man a chrome master cyclinder gaurd as well.
Guess I should let everyone know why I didnt keep it, My dads first trike that he ever owned was a 1985 200X. I was building that one for myself and then bought my 350X and lost interest because I now had my life long dream. Well he always talked about how great that trike was so I thought it was fitting to give it to him for Christmas. I know that I didnt get it done by then but it was the thought that counts I guess. I am trying to pick my next project,
1985 1/2 Tri-Z
The Zinger 60 (is already started somewhat)
The KLT 160
The 200s (I am considering this one heavely)
The 200X racer (which will be an 85 only)
Working on the 86 200X again

I might go, ITs up in the air at this point, I am one of those kind of people that never know if they are going on a trip or not until they wake up the morning they are supposed to leave lol.

Your 200x looks so good!!! Fine job you did there. I have to ask what kind of paint you used to get that graphite look.

The graphite paint is Dupli-Color High perforamance wheel paint. It sticks good, lays out good and is availible in sweet colors if your willing to pay for it.
