well, i finished my resoration on my trike. i think it turned out pretty good. i got the cylinder bored .50 over with new piston and rings. also i replaced all gaskets and seals. we also repainted the frame. finally we rebuilt the carberator and i finally have a working choke! :w00t: my brother will be posting the pics in a few minutes. Tell me what you guys think! :TrikesOwn

the headlight guard is off of a 200x chassis that i found laying at the local scrapyard. i think it looks pretty cool for $2.00!:beer

the before picture was taken even after i got it running and it still looked like hell. it really purrs now. i cant wait to get it out in summer time and rip around. :naughty:

Good job on the restro ,although I ain't a big Yamaha fan -I do like to see any trike restored to its former glory!What scrapyard did you get the guard ,up in deerfield?

sandpuppi, i got the headlight guard from the yard on the corner of wilder rd and m21. it was called andy's auto salvage but its something different now.

Your fork tubes appear to be bent. Looks nice.

im pretty sure the tubes are straight. i know the dust boot on one is screwed up but i think the forks themselves are straight.

The YTM's are famous for easily bent forks. Right at the bottom of the triple trees, viewed directly from the side, I think you will find they are bent. You can also tell because the front tire doesn't appear to be centered under the front fender. Maybe it's the camera angle but I don't think so.

oh well, if their bent, they are staying bent. they still work fine so i really dont mind. i just want to ride it! :w00t: its been to wet around here and i dont want to get it muddy.
