250r question???

hi are the reeds in all 250r`s the same, will 81r aftermarket ones fit an 85 r??:wondering
any help appreciated

i know the reed cage bolts are the same pattern, like a Boyesen R/V will bolt on to them all.
The stock reed cage on my '83 has 3 screws for each reed.
you could go to www.Boyesen.com and see if the reed part #'s are the same for the 2 years
