i just got a 84 200x and a 82 200s for $550 for the pair of ebay. the 200x needs a spring for the shifter is stays down when you shift into 1st+ gas tank leaks + they welded the kicker on. comes with extra bottom end.

the 82 200 just needs a carb or stator cleaned wont start the guy said. the seats ripped and the front fender is cracked.

they both have like new rear tires and the 200x has brand new Maier rear fenders

the auction munber is 4612208195 on ebay if someone knows how to make a link to it that would be cool or go check them out. i dont have a clue how to do it.

Not a bad price for those two trikes. good deal. Maybe you should bring one of those when you come to ride so I can keep up with you guys!

I think some of those engine parts may be interchangable as well, but I'm not 100% sure. :TrikesOwn

Well nonetheless you got a good deal. with a little work you should have two decent runners in no time. Good luck with them. ;)

i just got the 82 atc 200 running today. i pulled it a couple times and it sputtered tried again a couple times and it did it again. so i pulled the air box lid and theree was just half the foam filter just the metal cage. sprayed sstarting fluid and still would not start.:wondering

them i pulled the spark plug it was all black and wet. so i grabbed a new one and put it in the boot and held it to the exhaust and pulled it over and it sparked. the old plug would not spark. the gas was turned on when i got it so sitting that long mite not have helped the plug fouling.

put the new plug in and it fired up in the second pull.:Bounce does not even need a carb cleaning after sitting for over 2 years. the gas smells real bad and it still runs great no stumbling when you rev it up. going to drian the gas and put new in and get a filter before i actually ride it much.

after that i have to tighted up the rear wheel hubs and it will be ready to tear some stuff up. it being so easy to start made my day today.

Yup. A black, wet plug is not what you want. I'd adjust some stuff until that plug is tanish when you pull it outta there.

the wet black plug was the one that was in it when i got it. it;s been in there for the 2 years at least with the gas left on. it was fouled out from sitting and i got it all wet looking from trying to start it. i'll have to run it 1st and see if the carb needs adjusted + new gas will help also.

I know that that is a 200 ,but whats up with the shocks and the tank ,they are for a 185s or 200s.'83 or newer!! Does the 200 have 22x11x8's on it now.I think you stole those machines!! Nice grab!!!!

the atc 200 has the 25 x 12 x 9" tires on it. it's like the 84 atc 200m's but it was before they called them m's. or like a big red without racks.

i think it mite have newer rims on it since it does not have split rims on it like my friends 82 big red he got for free or the 82 185 i had as a kid. the rims mite be from a newer 200m model. maybe the tank and forks. does your 82 200 have the front forks?

the rear tiresd on the atc 200 are like brand new wore just enough to wear the nubbs off.

I have owned a 1981,1982 and 1983 ATC 200. Thats a 1983. If its says 82 on the frame I would be very surprised and when ordering parts for it you'll have to order 1983 parts. All ATC200 models have 9 inch rims, 25 inch tires. The S model has 8 inch rims and 22 inch tires. Also the S model has a much shorter frame and the backbone goes off to one side just behind the fuel tank while the other side has a smaller tube welded on. The ATC200 model has two equally sized tubes (bigger) welded on. If you look at the 1983 ATC200 front suspension, the axle is in front of the lower legs while a 200S has the axle behind the lower legs. All of these things make the 1983 ATC200 one of the coolest hardtails. Its much lighter than the big red but just as "BIG", shares the bigger headlight and split rear plastics. Its pretty much a 200M without the elctric start. Also, the tank on yours is the original. In 1982 the tank said "200" but not in 1983. Oh yeah, the one piece wheel started in 1983 as well, the two piece wheels are really flat from the backspace to the bead. So, its a one year machine! Good find! I got almost 600 for mine.

thanks for the info. it must be a 83 by what you explained. i'll have to check the sticker on the frame and see what month it was made in case it a 82 and 83 put together to make a nice one.
