10/40 good quality motor oil will suffice. Just make sure it does not have the "starburst" logo on back of bottle.
I use 10/30 in winter because our high here is like 20 degrees and 10/40 in spring / summer.
I use the wally world 1.00 a bottle stuff and works fine. (no logo on them)
I change oil a few times a year.

I suggest Mobil 1 Fully Synthetic 10w40

I dunno. older engines and clutches are not designed for that stuff but its up to you.

Most all manuals suggest you use just regular oil and not a synthetic to reduce friction, because your clutch plates are saturated in your oil bath. That is my understanding on the subject. If you want to be anal go to your local Honda dealership and see what the mechanics suggest.

Thats what I run in 4 strokes. They make a Mobil 1 Full synthetic motorcycle oil, if you are really worried about your clutch. Ive never had a problem with either.
