I'd love to tear into the motor thats in this thing! Love the CalFab, as dirty as it is. Not a machine that was meant to be babied. Sure ya don't want to trade?

Ok just read, it is the TT one. How does this steering stabilizer work? Can you notice it? How does this one compare to a stock 86 or 87? assuming you have ridden one before?

Thanks for posting the pics BigGreenMachine. These pics were taken by the previous owner NICKG when he was advertising it for sale. I didn't get those nice shrouds with the trike unfortunitly. The pic of the swinger was taken after the machine has set at my shop for a while after i blew the motor. The Cylinder needs to be replated so i've been holding off on the rebuild because i am a typical college student...broke. I want to get it back together early this spring so i can race my brother on his 06 yzf. I think i may give him a run, but only time will tell. When i get the motor fixed, i want to repaint the frame and put in some new bearings. Depends on if i have a job or not.

History of the trike. I guess it was raced down in Kentucky before NICKG got it. If you look in the first pics you can see a round sticker on the front fender. This is a Kawi team green sticker, i guess you couldn't get one unless you had some backing from Kawi. I have a close up pick i'll try to get posted up. I was told the steering stabliizer was a kit you could buy back in the day, its pretty simple. It has 2 spacers to move the left radiator out about a half an inch, and then a VW beatle (i'm assuming) shock runs from a bracet on the top motor mount to the left side of the triple. It makes some difference, but i honestly haven't ridden the trike enough to really get a feel for it. The rear bracket broke so i had to take it off also. I have some 8" wheels, the special hubs, and blue duros that were on the trike when it was raced also.

90nut, i haven't ridden a stock T3, but i can tell you this beast flies. I have to imagine it is a bit faster than a stocker by looking at the port work on the cylinder. It is really a work of art, someone has a ton of hours into that cylinder.

BigGreen, i want to keep this one, but i would trade you the T3 i just got from thorton, lol. Its pretty decent, all stock, needs motor work. I'm going to send you a couploe more pics if you could post them it would be great

Ya its not cheap to get the cylinder replated. I just took my cylinder in to a local shop. It cost me $330.42 to replate and a new piston. Then after new gaskets, reeds and a few miscellaneous things it costs me $418.83. Now Im just hoping I get it back in time for the next trip.
